Special Populations Served
FBFC works with a variety of minors and NMD who have special needs that include, but is not limited to:
- Dual Disorders
- FBFC ensures that certified and resource parents are consistently taking minors and NMD to therapy and issuing proper medication as prescribed
- Development Disabilities
- Minors and NMD can be referred to CVRC, Bright Start, and counseling services as needed.
- DEI/Fetal Alcohol Syndrome
- FBFC requires all certified and resource parents to attend the four hour training of DEI provided by Tulare county or the four hour training of Head/Sleep Trauma provided by Fresno County if capacity allows for minors ages 0-2.
- Probation (case by case)
- FBFC ensures that probation cases complete or work towards completing community hours, participating in drug testing as needed, etc.
- FBFC has staff equipped to provide services for ISFC clients. Hours are met based on the level placed (Level 1:81-114 hours, Level 2: 47-80, Level 3: 0-47)
